Fax and Data The use of mobile lines for sending and receiving of fax messages has become quite a common practice in Zimbabwe. With the shortage of landlines for faxes, mobile technology has now come in handy. The same goes for data services, where many of our subscribers now use mobile lines for purposes of Internet surfing, E-mail and data transfer services. A monthly subscription fee is charged for fax or data service in line with the ruling POTRAZ approved tariff. Usage is chargeable in terms of the normal tariff schedule. Zellco Cellular subscribers have the benefit of one account for both voice and data services the fact we can now offer all these under one roof. Thanks to the mordern third generation handsets, mobile Internet and E-mail services are now possible directly on one's mobile. Short Message Service The Short Message service/ text messaging is probably the cheapest means of communication for all our clients for now. Please refer our tariff schedule on this same website for the SMS tariff. We have also realised quite huge traffic as customers take advantage of this technological revolution. We currently offer Bulk Messaging Services for both individual and corporate customers be it for advertising or general information purposes. When your phone is off, you are out of reach etc; all your calls are diverted onto your voice mail system where calling parties can deposit messages. With this facility customers can guarantee no lost business as they are always in touch. Please contact our customer care on hotline number 126 for voicemail activation and other set up issues. One Info Now, our customers can access important news headlines, both local and foreign, political, sport, weather, quotes of the day etc via the SMS facility and directly onto their mobile handset screens. The beauty of this service is that the customer can choose to subscribe monthly or request particular information wherever and whenever necessary via the short message service facility. One Global/Roaming Service The roaming service or One Global is available for all our contract subscribers. With this service Zellco Subscribers enjoy the benefit of making and receiving their calls whilst in other foreign countries. However with the current economic challenges, this service is only available and payable in advance and in foreign currency. Our customers can take advantage of this facility through paying for the service directly at Net One for now. The Balance Enquiry Service After phasing out the hard copy bill and its attendant physical delivery challenges, Zellco Cellular subscribers can now access their mobile and account balances from wherever they are online. Both account and individual subscription/mobile balances are now accessible from our website every month just after the billing process is complete. For security and confidentiality reasons subscribers access, dowload their balances and or statements through unique and confidential PIN and PUK numbers as per the customer log-in section of this website. Individuals without any online facilities can also access their balances through texting BAL or MOB to 011611278. Depending on network conditins, the customer will recieve his account or mobile balance within minutes. Electronic Billing This is now the quickest, reliable and most convenient bill delivery system. Our customers can now get their bills just as soon as we complete the billing process, thanks to the E-billing service. It is fast, efficient, economical and reliable for as long as we have our subscriber's correct E-mail address. Our customers can just contact us at care@zellco.co.zw should they want to enjoy this service, terminte it or change their e-mail addresses. Direct Deposit Facility In the interest of convenience for our customers, we have opened up a direct deposit facility into our bank account for customers far away from our Zellco outlets. The customer makes a deposit into our Standard Chartered Bank (Africa Unity Square) , Barclays or Agribank Account. Our customers are however urged to fax through the copy of the deposit slip to Zellco Cellular on the following fax numbers: Head Office 04 708193 or 253495, Bulawayo 09 61657: Mutare- 020 68271, and Intermarket Life Towers (ILT) 04 702386. Customers are also reminded to quote their Account Numbers or mobile numbers on these deposit slips so as to minimise not only posting delays, but payments mispostings as well. Zellco Cellular will update the customer account accordingly in line with the direct deposit slip. |
